Short description:
SEAB is a public company with 270 employees, responsible for providing a wide range of environmental services to the residents of Bolzano/Bozen–city of 100.000 inhabitants and home of the famous Iceman Ötzi. The company operates in particular in the fields of waste collecting and recycling, drinking water and natural gas supply, sewage disposal and parking management.

Role in the project:
The SEAB waste collecting team will be testing one fuel cell refuse truck for at least two years, to gather data on the performance of the vehicle. SEAB will use the truck for the collection of cardboard in the old town of Bolzano, where silent and clean garbage management is part of a sustainable tourism concept–with the commitment to integrate more fuel cell garbage trucks in the fleet if the project is successful.
