Short description: 
Noordenveld is a municipality in the northern part of the Netherlands just south-east of the city of Groningen. Noordenveld is a rural municipality with 32.000 inhabitants. Noordenveld has a great history as it houses one of the oldest prison camps in the Netherlands. Over a hundred state monuments are situated in the Veenhuizen area. Noordenveld is one of three municipalities in the province of Drenthe that does its own waste collection.

Role in the project:
Noordenveld participates in the REVIVE project for it has the ambition to be the most durable municipality in Drenthe in 2030. Data on hydrogen operated refuse vehicles will be gathered and we will prove that H2 will be the best solution for zero-emission heavy-duty vehicles in the future.
