Trucks
2 hydrogen refuse trucks are being deployed, as rear-end loader trucks for municipal waste collection.

Location
The trucks will be operation in the region of Helmond, in the south east of the Netherlands. In this region the truck will be on routes in 8 municipalities. The trucks will use the WaterstofNet hydrogen refuelling station in Helmond.

Timeline
The trucks will be in operation mid February 2021, and are expected to be in operation for at least 10 years.

Local partner
SUEZ Netherlands is participating in REVIVE to experience the operation of hydrogen refuse trucks and to operate these trucks, as a way to demonstrate the viability of hydrogen as an alternative to current drivelines on fossil fuels.
