Short description: 
IIT – Institute for Innovative Technologies – is a non-profit institute for innovation, with private and public shareholders, whose purpose is to implement projects and services which contribute to the decarbonisation of road-based mobility in the region South Tyrol, located in the north of Italy. Since mid-2006 IIT has acted as a centre of excellence in planning, implementing and operating zero-emission projects on behalf of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano-South Tyrol and along the Brenner corridor on behalf of the Brennerautobahn AG.

 

Role in the project:
In the REVIVE project the role of IIT is to coordinate the participation of the waste operators of Bolzano (Seab) and Merano (ASM – Azienda Servizi Municipalizzati) in the development and deployment of an electric fuel cell refuse truck in their fleets and municipalities.
